    SDR antenna transceiver switcher

Not sure I would, to be honest. That sequential triggering on the guardian whereas the bypass occurs a split second before the TX path is open sounds awesome. And when you let go the key, TX is cut before the bypass is disabled. It seems to me that it should protect the SDR for real. Also I...

    SDR antenna transceiver switcher

I found this guy: 135 dB isolation I really like the adjustable isolation delay and CW decay times. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/178064725218?mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5336136228&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1

    SDR antenna transceiver switcher

Thanks for the info! I've had my eye on the MX-S3 but I've never seen any pics of its innards. I'd expect at least some minimal distanciation and or shielding between antenna traces and ports, like in VE2DX's unit:

    SDR antenna transceiver switcher

I examined this and it looks sound. At first I was afraid it might induce attenuation, but it looks manageable especially at HF frequencies or by choosing lower capacitance diodes. At any rate, I wish to fix the root problem and replace the switcher and then see if this is still necessary.

    SDR antenna transceiver switcher

Here are the main reasons. Better spectrum visualisation on a 4k screen with 10Mhz span. Simultaneous RX with virtual VFO. Superior noise filtering and equaliser handled by software. So, yeah, I still have a problem to solve. :D

    SDR antenna transceiver switcher

Hello WDXers, I'm running a SDR setup on RX and using a cheap PTT relay switcher box to TX with an IC-7300. It's so cheap, it's craptacular. TX bleeds through the SDR and it's fixing to eventually fry its input stage. And it starts to go bananas after a while and I have to "reset" it by...

    11 meter is very quiet?

Dead as Dillinger up here. On the other hand, local contacts are going strong. I am blessed to have a good community here on upper sideband for the evening ragchew most of the time. Now we can gab during daytime too.

    11 meter is very quiet?

I get better luck with USB on upper channels. Earlier today I got a really good S9+10 contact with someone from South Dakota on 27530 USB.

    11 meter is very quiet?

I just managed to grab a contact from division 22, French Guyana. From where I am, most of the time Europe shuts down while South America opens up towards the evening.

I gabbed a bit with Craig in Daytona. He comes in loud and proud up here when the afternoon ends.

    11 meter is very quiet?

I don't know if you guys heard this Italian fellow on freeband. He comes on with this unusual seductive sexy voice. I don't remember his callsign but he ends his calls to QSY with "go go go go". I had him on speakers the other day and my wife was wondering what the hell kind of frequencies I was...

    11 meter is very quiet?

Squeezed in a few contacts today. I logged my first division 347, in Curaçao. I got Craig in Daytona. He was coming in loud and clear. I also got my usual fix of division 14 and 26 as well. All in all, a good day considering I don't have much time to spare. Going to grab some grub and chat...

    11 meter is very quiet?

Busy with work, so only time to work local SSB contacts once skip calms down later in the evening. I am blessed with regional activity, and I have the distinct impression that there is a new generation of 11 meter enthusiasts on the airwaves around here in Quebec. Us older folks have our...
