    the kobitone element works great 4 the money. u need to tape the back of it or glue it to the old cartridge, it will take away some of the tinny sound. i use about 6 of them my self and i like them.73's mark

    Crackling 60hz hum three channels in a row, every 4th channel clear as a bell.

    remember cable sends a signal onthe feed to the main box, cb is 27 mc, tv is 50-52?mc about half of cb so you could be getting harmonics from it.
