    Orange wire on Cobra 20 plus

    Just found a Cobra 20+ in some boxes we had in the basement. It has 3 wires black,red,and orange. What is the orange wire for? Thinking about putting it in an old 4x4 for use on trail rides. Are 20 plus Cobras decent compact CBs?
