I'd like to try a 10 meter rotatable horizontal dipole made of aluminum tubing. Based on lack of product availablity, I'm wondering why nobody does this. Is a vertical that much better? I suspended a wire 10 meter dipole between chimney's and it worked well, and picked up very little noise like my antron-99 vertical. Seems I could use a mast to get more height above the chimneys if I had a half wave of aluminum tubing on top of it.
Have found only one company making such a thing. Considering making my own but not sure about the exact tubing and bracketing to keep it from drooping like an unkept mustache. I like 10 and 11 meters. Not too interested in a beam or 20 or 6 meters.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
