I finaly got rid of the static level just before 1:00 AZ time and it opened up for me.... Made right at 24 contacts between 1:00 and 3:30 then it went quiet again.
very strange conditions was recieving NE then 15 min later it was SE back and forth like that all afternoon... That Old 430 got a bit of a work out today
A lot of 10/10 contestors today wanting my #'s... I was like sorry I am just here to DX and have a good time.... And off they would go.
Dont know if I would want to do that stuff that would be a LOT of work
