Hi everyone, Is there a person who has a detailed construction plan for a 11 meter band arial , I am looking at building a cb radio home base antennae for my workshop unit, 1/2 wave , 5/8 anything will do. Please can anyone send me plans as I have searched and so far nothing. I currently have a 5/8 on my roof and was thinking of reverse engineering it however if I can build one from a plan it would be great, thanks GARY

You can learn from building. You should try it sometime, then come back here and share some wisdom.

Please let me know where I can obtain new antennas for free.......because I can and do build all kinds of antennas for free out of material I have on hand!Is it that dude in Colorado that always says he is on the side smokin?

A quick Google of "homebrew 5/8 wave CB antenna" resulted in a half-dozen web site and YouTube hits. The info is out there.

What a cool idea! I had a friend way back when who built a 1/4 wave GP out of rusty barbed wire from an old fence, a long pole from the bush and some discarded 75 ohm TV coax LOL! Just to prove it could be done.......
It worked, but I don't remember how well!
With ten of thousands of 5/8 wave 11 meter antennas sold without issues, your post has no merit.
