    7.5K actually takes a massive electrical system upgrade in a vehicle application, there'd be no way to run it on a stock system.....and a whole lot of transistors in a really big box or a couple of boxes, with a lot of fans to keep it cool. We're talking 32 pill class with a driver. For the size of the box in your hand and the heatsink size, that's probably a 250 to 350 max watt box.

    Lots of Skip last two days from numerous directions…Florida to Alaska but none further West than Texas.

    I talked to member “Codeman” aka 553 again this morning in his truck. 30 miles from Austin TX. Always sounding good (y)

    I went back to my modded Cobra M77 mic. Seems like it cuts through better than the President mic. 454 needle bender in Spokane, WA said I sounded fantastic!! I will keep using it!!! I will miss the channel selector...naaaa. LOL

    So much DX today. Just talked to forum member “Farmer Brown” in Arkansas a little while ago. Bill sounded great on his radio.

    Missed a radio call from forum member “Recon NY818” a couple nights ago. I had just cut the radio off. One of the guys local to me talked to Recon. I heard the next day that Recon was calling for me…shucks. o_O
