Deafening silence here. Nothing heard on Ch 38 LSB, not even the Ch 6 Super Bowl guys are coming in. Broke out the CB Handie Talkie to make sure the radio was still working.

I actually had a couple of contacts from North Louisiana to Georgia and Florida yesterday morning. Those conditions dropped out fast though.

And its gonna stay that way for awhile. Still have alot of flares and storm activity hitting earth. On and off radio blackouts will still happen as well
Yup. Earth was hit with a class G2 solar storm. Another one is due to hit us either Sunday or Monday. Quiet times for the next few days, well unless you have 6m or higher. Then it starts to get fun.
Had a contact with Deerslayer in Florida on AM 26 yesterday around 5:30pm PST. He has some good clear audio!!!
6m was open in the eastern half of the US this morning for a couple or three hours. 10m was open between Europe and South America most of the day according to several websites, nothing here though.
I know people just seem to love motor mouth maul's audio, but I much prefer Deerslayer's.I have talked to him a couple of times. His radio is top notch
Yes..he’s didn’t sound as “bassey” as MMM. Sounded very natural and no background noise. Definitely top notch. He has a video on the processor he uses.
Conditions are slowly but surly getting better this morning for me here in Texas. Currently I'm only getting 38 with the usual douche bags, so I'm hoping other frequencies will open up soon!
I have a question. No matter how quiet the band is, 34lsb, for me at least, always has a constant hum/squeal that registers about 4-5 on the meter. Does anyone else see this or is it just me? Is there something known that causes this? Don't see it anywhere else. Only 34lsb.

Yesterday DX was breaking thru as I was driving doing my chores, so hoping it is a sign of good things to come. I also received a email from President Radio yesterday that they shipped my repaired Lincoln II+ radio and should see it Friday. Hoping things are looking up !
