11 meter is very quiet?

I've had a pipeline to Brazil and Uruguay all weekend long. I've also had many qsos with stations in Canada and the US. There was also the occasional station out of Italy and other areas of Europe.

All in all, a very good weekend of radio. Now bring on the turkey!! :giggle::giggle:

I was hearing a strong station out of Dallas but can't exactly remember his numbers but I think they were 54. I figure I would ask you Texas guys if you knew him. He was clear as a bell and I know I've heard him many times.

Dallas is a bit too close/far for me. I've heard Houston in my receive, but they're around 350 miles from me, and Dallas is 200 miles.

The contacts I made this weekend were mostly on USB.

Yeah I was parked on 37 LSB but just listening because my pain in the butt trouble maker neighbor was home all day and probably on his computer. Don't know what kind of equipment he has but I had a pair of computer speakers that use to pick up CB until I figured it out and got rid of them. Took me a while but finally dawned on me ! LOL

It was good to hear you as well. You had a good signal and audio my way but it started to fade a little. I like the sound of your Delta mike. I am running a Stryker 955 into a worn out 4' firestik. I am located just east of Ft Smith Arkansas. I was broke down 2 days and now waiting to load something tomorrow. 73.
i used to haul feed ingredients to alex arkansas codeman, and scrap to yaffee in ft smith

Tested out the old PC-122 this morning, after discovering mic problems and switching back to the short cord stock mic. ( Which I stretched out better ) I did make a Missouri contact thru the mess so figured I didn't mess the radio up too bad. But like always I had (Have To Do) jobs waiting. So messed with mics. tonight and tested several, Chose a Astatic Red Road Devil for best quality sound, so will give it hell tomorrow again until the winter tire job pulls on me. LOL

Well the old PC-122 did me Tampa Bay and Missouri again today so I guess it will be a winner when I get to explore some more. But I want to get my buddy to come up and talk to me so can hear for myself. Fun & Games LOL PS the DX seems to be switching around a little for areas.

  • @ Deon:
Good day, I have an Icom IC910H radio. I want to program a memory with split frequency tone on TX only and NO tone on RX,. Is this possible to do from the face of the radio? I don't have the interface to connect to a computer.
  • @ crappykraco:
@Deon very unlikely to get a response here. You are better off starting a thread on the topic.
