I had to check my stuff, I thought my station got disconnected since it's so quiet. I can't even hear anything on 19!

I heard a little early in the day but it's dried up lately.
Skip is rolling in south Texas this afternoon. Made some easy contacts to Florida and Washington state plus some southeastern states. Mostly listening today.
After reading your post, I decided to turn the radio on and I was surprised at the number of contacts I made in just 45 min. Thanks for posting, my friend!

It's amazing what happens when you stir the pot. It was pretty dead when I fired up the base at 8 pm EST. Called CQ-Dx and the channel (37lsb) lit up like crazy. Logged strong stations all around the US. 9 pm and Mother Nature pulled the plug. Fun way to start off the year.

I did manage to squeeze out a distant short contact on 35 USB with my mobile McKinley. They were from Central Florida so it was better than nothing.
