11 meter is very quiet?

Codeman -
What's your QTH and what frequency were you using. I talked to several Texas stations yesterday on 27.375 LSB. Gimme a try: unit399 - Medellin Colombia South America.

I'm just south of San Antonio,Texas
I was from 27.365 on up to 27.555 yesterday. I'll check out 37 today. I've talked to you once from a mobile about a year or so.

Good Morning all, just looked at the conditions for 11 meter Propagation for today and it shows it to be in the fair range, however I might be on the air after 2pm on 37 LSB, haven't been on the radio too much lately due to work, etc............

I'm on the air right now on 37 LSB if anyone wants to give me a shout out, conditions are up and down at the moment up my way in Central PA..............

Yeah I was out in my Cobalt about that time and heard some beautifully clear stuff coming out of that Q6 Pro on 37 & 38 LSB but I couldn't break on thru to the other side.

Well I was able to make contact with a gentleman out of Washington State that went by #751, but no WWDX members, Conditions were really up and down up here in Central PA today, heard mostly a lot of background stations on the air and some qrm in between, I'll try again next Sunday, have a great week everyone!!

The DX Gods were against me today. I was planning on hitting the shack about noon when an midday thunderstorm rolled in. It finally blew over, but during the storm a lightning hit took out a fuse on a main line feeding our area. So no power. Being Sunday, they didn't get it up and running until late afternoon, but then it was time for the formula 1 race on ESPN. So, no Dxin' for me today. Maybe manana. Veremos ! 73.

Heard DX busting thru on both of my Q6 Pros in both of my mobiles especially my late afternoon run with the Cobalt, but still couldn't break on thru to the other side. I credit some to being too busy especially 38 lsb.

I got home and powered up to not much for conditions here. All of a sudden I heard 2 operators chatting and thought they were local so I called out to them. Turns out they were local to each other in southeast Florida and I sounded like a local to them as well. I had about a 20 minute conversation with them both and that's all propagation brought in for me. Strange things in the world of dx.

Got on the radio for a short while this afternoon. Conditions were good. Made contact with 745 on the island of Trinidad in the West Indies on the first call on 37LSB. Followed up by several contacts in Florida, Louisiana and the Carolina's on 36. Strong signals from Brazil again up above 40. Mother Nature's been good to us up here lately!

Got a surprise today after reinstalling my Q6 Pro back in my cobalt and my old Sirio Performer 5000 antenna that got destroyed when it hit a limb. I bought a new base for it from Trucks CB and had him put a better & longer coax on it for my purpose. I figured I would pre-test the SWR before I got to my favorite SWR site and got a surprise with almost a flat-line SWR. So to shorten the story I rode down thru the valley to the next town with crappy DX but did manage to make contact with Jamaica. Ya could have knocked me over with a feather ! Hope better days are Ahead ! LOL
