Is there an internal adjustment for mic gain on this radio? If so what VR is it and could I wire this to an external pot on the back of the radio?
Also does anyone have any info on a way to have external control of the AM carrier? I do a lot of ssb with this but most of my locals talk AM and if I run this with my 667 I would like to have the option to have a variable dead key

VR10 controls AM power level.
If you want micgain you can put 1k pot inside the radio in series with wire coming from pin 2 mic socket to PCB board.
