Concerning a Cobra 148 GTL-DX. It has the side mic (4pin) and the PLL is the MC 145106. The question is this. The chassis with the MB 8710/8734 (148/2000 GTL) is renowned for it exceptional receive properties. Does the MC 145106 PLL chassis also retain the same good>great ears even though it's a different chassis from the MB8719/8734 ? Are there any receive specific mods ?
