is that a frequency counter wired into a Grant XL if so what kind of counter is that. iv'e been wanting to do that to mine but been told the newer 347 type counter won't hard wire in.

yes thats a ranger fc-390 freq. counter hard wired into the grant. they might of ment it wouldnt work cause when you key up the numbers jump around but it dont effect nothing. soon as you unkey it goes right back to the freq.it works really well truth be told.

im kind of a pack rat when it comes the the hr-2510-2600 radios. they are great for what they are. probably one of my favorite radios.
