I was under the impression that those transistors could take more dead key. It’s going to be a pain in the butt to turn all my radios down lol. Most of my base radios are dead keying about five watts swinging to 10 maybe. I was hoping that would not blow the thing up.
 
Which 2979's, toshiba, dei, pp, hg ect. Im assuming toshibas, if so id keep it below 4w and give it some swing.

Im a fan of an external variable on my base radios that will be used with an amp.
