Hi all.
I built a 4 ele 2 m yagi from an old tv antenna. Is there a way to add 70cm 's to it and utilize the same feed point (I can move it obviously)? I've seen dual banders but they had separate feeds. I really don't want 40 lbs of LMR 400 on the same mast. (JK LOL) 73

Have a good look at the Cushcraft A270-10. It is a dual bander with five rlements on each band and a single feedline. The two feedpoints are connected with a coaxial TEE connector. The lengths of cable going from the TEE to each antenna has to be the proper length however. It can be done but it isn't really the best idea. If I can find my A270-10 I will measure the lengths.

Thanks binrat. Posting links etc. is not so easy when I am on my phone like when I posted above. And now. And any other time when wrods are spellled funy. Big fingers. Small keyboard. Touch screen. Bad combination.

Thanks Cpt. I agree with not having both on same "tenna" after some research. I built a 70 cm yag from scratch "mostly". I'm positive the coax will weigh at least 10 times the antenna since I plan on using LMR400 or RG8U because of high losses at vhf. Can't wait to try them out. Just passed my tech test on sat and waiting for database to show my call sign!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
