I listened to MOMUA today at 9:30am.i gave my callsign .connected to him.180 miles apart.
Using a gp9 50 ft to base great coax hooked to my yaesu ftm 200 on 50 watts.
Wish i was done working but hey guys get it while we can . On 146.520

Worked Colorado on 2 meters this morning. 980 air miles contact from Illinois. Done SSB NOT ft8...

6 was wide open also. Had a pile running on ssb.. over 80 contacts in a row.. then I had to go QRT.

Great day for 50 mhz and up fun!!

The World Wide VHF/UHF Contest starts Saturday morning & goes thru Sunday afternoon so if it is Open like it was today on 6 meters it will be a Busy Band & that's Great.
