Are there any mods, to improve AM modulation of the 2510? I'm not a "swing fanatic" but I was hoping to get the AM side tuned up competition style.

I personally suggest trying the Mic Gain Mod first...

It is the easies and safest bet..

As stated on my mod page, it does not remove the AMC function just

changes the upper limit, This will help prevent 'Over Modulation"

but will allow a Power mic to perform much better and also even improve the Stock mics high end modulation.

I have found that the Variable power mod also adds punch to the Modulation, after you add the mic gain mod, because now when you lower the output power, your audio can drive over the carrier better.
