The 3CX3000"A7" version is the best for RF amplification. The coaxial type cathode connection has far less inductance allowing the tube to operate up to 110 MHz. The F7 version is just as good below 75 MHz. The F3 version has less gain or "mu" and is not ideal for linear RF amplification. It would require tons of drive as a grounded grid RF amp.

I wouldn't have though Henry would use a tube that is a poor choice. LOL. Just curious as to what Master Chief was thinking.
