4 tube amp Identification
This is called a 550 watt minimax. Does anyone know who makes this? That's all the info I have. See pic! Thanks Ron

Messed up NOW by Hurricane Sandy but get dsl sometimes. Found more info as that amp arrived. It uses four 12GB3 TUBES. Maybe that helps and its made by Mini-Max Xeron. See the pics and maybe someone can tell me something about this 550watt amp. Thanks Ron

Well not sure how 4)12gb3 tubes will yield 550 watt output...

Spec sheet states max rating for:
A single 12GB3 operating at 550 volts B+ at max cathode current of 150ma
(82 watts each?)... max plate dissipation of 10 watts

Must have higher voltage than tube specs suggests...
old tube configuration....never seen an amp using those tubes before...
So sorry I am of no help...
