60 meter contact

I just put up a dipole today for 60 meter, when I got off the tower the temp was 32 degree brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

made a contact with G0HNW !

That's cool! It seams if a band has a 6 in it, it's a lot of fun!! I like 60 and 6 meters.

Wait a minute,,,,is 60 meters used outside the U.S. ?

The USA and the UK have a 60m allocation but I believe they only share one common freq of the 5 available to USA amateurs.. A handfull of other countries have been experimenting with the idea and have permitted a few stations to use 60m. This includes Canada,Germany,New Zealand and I believe Finland.
