In this video we take a donor radio and do a little troubleshooting to see just how bad a shape it is in. Since I already have one of these I will probably give this radio away to someone in need.

Amazing that it didn't take out the zener diode or the regulator; those traces acted as fast as any fuse would open up. lol. Assuming, of course, that they put a zener in there to help regulate: I didn't look at the schematic..
I think it may still be possible to find the link online that shows how to convert the CW switch to add LSB to this radio.

Strange it did not take more out for sure. Like you said those traces became the weakest link. Thanks for tat URL. I always wanted to mod one like that.
