Hey guys I got a galaxy 98vhp bought it from custom cb radios had him do the conversion and tune but have no squelch control just does not work any help would be great

First step would be to read the manual and learn all the functions and features. Then double check all your radio settings. After that I would call Doug by phone or Facebook and talk to him. He is a very sharp guy and anal about how each radio is tuned before he ships it out.

I hate to see you send it back only to find out the RF gain was turned all the way down or it was in PA or CW mode. That's a heavy beast to ship around for a case of operator error.

i have had the radio for a few months and i knw rf gain is up there is no cw mode on this radio

Well, If I had a radio for a few months and the squelch quit working, I would guess it needed repair or a new squelch control/pot. The way you have written your post, it would seem you just received the radio and it was not working. I can not see a radio leaving Dougs shop that was not working great or was exactly as requested. If that was to be the case I'm sure he would repair it, no questions asked and pay the shipping.

ya i tryed to email him when i got hasent worked from day one no responce to my email thought i could fix it myself iam going to try again with email
