Looks like a nice tube amp. What is the purpose of the wood block or spacer? Hard to tell from the pics.

i think the spacer is there to keep the transformer from shifting during shipping .i see this in all the jb2000`s.nice boxes .
Agree, My friend Tracy had a JB2000 just like this with the same block in it.
Also a nice amp, looks unmolested
