Adjustment tools for SMT pots..??

I am looking for a simple tool to adjust my 2950CD AM pot and AM modulation pot but I am not sure which size or type to get..

I want to turn down the AM low and maybe turn up the AM modulation a hair.

I am looking for economical priced (like $10 or less) to just adjust these 2 pots which are the same size.

I'd rather not use my screwdriver set from HF which is metal..

And yes I know to turn off and remove power all the way when messing around.

A 0.4mm by 1.3 mm ceramic screwdriver-tip tool works for us.

You said "smt" pots. The really tiny metal-faced trimpots use this tool. So do the 7mm and 10mm IF/RF coils with the small threaded slugs.

The plastic-knob trimpots in the pic above will fit a larger tip. A 0.7 x 2.5mm should fit it nicely.

Bear in mind the trimpots with the plastic knob on them are okay to adjust with any metal screwdriver tip that fits, around 1/8-inch is fine. The ceramic tools are a must for ferrite slugs and the tiny all-metal SMT trimpots.

When all else fails a piece of dry hardwood and a good pocket knife will make almost any trim adjustment tool you need. Been there and done that more times than I care to remember.

Handles from plastic forks & spoons at Wendys work well also popsicle sticks.
