I don’t have as much electronics equip & tools as most Members but, it’s a lot. So when the relatively new Garment Steamer stops working, it looks funny if I can’t fix it. I need a thermal switch & all I need do is find one. Illegible Part # no help from Pur.

So I try AI for the 2nd time. There’s hundreds of switches. AI requested the make, model, etc. AI then searched eBay based on specs collected.

I have too much time into this steamer and AI is starting to make sense. Am I late to Co-Pilot for finding parts? It’s more helpful than I imagined. ‘Parts apprehension’ always. Making sense here?

Might want to double check the part number. The KSD301-X comes in multiple flavors. Normally open and normally closed. Amazon sells both. I would sure think that device would use a normally closed switch that opens when too hot.

I could be wrong, just double check what it needs. Seems there are more normally open switches available. Now sure how that thing is wired though.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
