The year 1977 was my first time to visit Alaska and looking for work. I also had in my mind that there were two things that I really wanted to get from there - Gold Nugget watch and Wolf rug mount.
Well I finally completed the task and here are the pictures.

This watch I acquired my second year up ('78), it has approximately 2-3 oz of gold, which now is about $4500 or so. I paid $900 for it back then. My son now has it.

Next the Wolf pelt, all thou I could not get one while I was actually in Alaska, I did get one last month from a radio operator on 11 meters that I was talking with for several weeks. He was on Prince of Wales Island and he knew of a trapper that had some pelts for sale close to him at a General store. So I had him send down the best one in the store and then I took it to a Taxidermist.

This is before the Taxidermist.
