Ever hear the advice that begins with "If it looks too good to be true"?

Color me skeptical.

Ever get the feeling you're being jerked around?

Gettin' that feeling.

It got me once a few years ago. What I thought was going to be the parallel Playstation to SDCard iso device, turned out to be something else. As you noticed, its based of what is highlighted in the pictures available to choose from.

I'm through with AliExpress.

They talk big talk about returns and refunds. But their process is inscrutable when you actually try to use it.

Their listings are deceptive — perhaps through incompetence rather than design.

I ordered a camera lens cover. It comes in varieties. The one in the listing photo was the one I wanted! I clicked "buy" and proceeded with the purchase.

When the email confirmation arrived, I found I had purchased the alphabetically-first variety, an exceedingly ugly "Brown Grid" of large pixels, not the lovely "Forest" one depicted on the page where I clicked "buy".

I immediately responded to cancel the order. My email was not returned as undeliverable, but neither was my order cancelled. They kept mindlessly sending me progress notices. I replied to each with "CANCEL THIS ORDER!" I eventually tried their "return process", which has conflicting, contradictory instructions, but it actually requires you to actually receive the order before cancelling it.

When it arrived, I refused receipt, and the shipper (Canada Post) returned it to the sender.

AliExpress has not acknowledged receipt of the return. Their bots and droids and such INSIST that I print the return label and then return the item. I no longer have the item to return, and unfortunately, Canada Post provides no verification of refusal of delivery. (I asked them for one.)

I'm out ~$120. NEVER AGAIN!
