amp conversion

Was looking at a two-tube 3-500Z amp. It is made for 11 meters AM was wondering how hard it would be to convert it for 80 meters AM.

If it's made well, not too bad depending on tuners etc.

Need tuned input for 75 meters, need wrap coil for the PIL tuned tank and change load and tune caps .
if it has a good power supply and is constructed well it wont be to much problem to make it a mono bander on 75 meters

Depending on the choice of original plate choke, you might need one with more inductance. The SB-220 plate choke was around 50 uH.

The lower the frequency, the larger the components need to be. If you have a small chassis, things could be interesting.
