Another PC122XL TX Problem

Not to be captain oblivious here but...

Make sure you have the right Mic wire to the right spot...

Last minute detail - kinda' thing.

Andy I was thinking the same thing this afternoon. If the ground and audio were somehow swapped I was thinking it would have the same effect. I think.
 
Ground thru a 600 ohm might - because speaker is done differently - what normally would use 1 - 4 on the mic socket is toggled internally thru a diode on the main board (that D38 and CB PA switch in CB) - but if the mic wires to the radio were reversed ... hmmm...

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
