Another scope question

I found an old post here on building a RF probe or RF meter.
How do I go about setting up a scope to test a defective circuit and trace RF?
Will I need anything besides the probe?
Sorry for the simple question, but help me to understand this, Is the audio DC or AC? Should I be using the scope set to DC?

Standard probe should work fine.
