Antenna suggestion for HF bands

There are MUCH better places to find info then Wikipedia. As I understand it anyone can contribute info to it and it often has just plain wrong info. Get an ARRL antenna book and learn the whys and hows properly.For HF antennas, especially mobile antennas, size does in fact matter.A 2 foot antenna sucks big time on 10m let alone 20 or 40m and we won't even talk about what happens on 80m. :?

I haven't used the Hi-Sierra. I've used both a small and full size Tarheel.

I like the Hi-Q the best of those two. I use a full size 6-80m 4" coil version mobile. The nice thing about the hi-q is that the antenna height doesn't change with band selection....It's just really big and it stays that way
