LMA!!! THATS A HARSH MOD BECAREFUL PERFORMING THAT ONE IF YOU HAVE EXSPENSIVE TIRES. I feel that could be a great improvement mod for alot of the CB radios that are offered and out there now days.

My mod is to just stay away from Cobra DX-anythings. Way too many well documented problems and complaints with the things and far too many other exports out there that work great.

it's a throw-away radio, if you own it long enough you'll find out why, maybe.

And there you have it straight from a radio tech and shop. Find yourself another radio some of the newer Unidens are pretty nice I am not an AM user but will agree there are a few good radios out there for that and a few of the Unidens are great.

You can always sell it to an enemy of yours and then go buy an older Cobra or a Galaxy, Magnum, Stryker, Connex, etc.
