I know it's possible with the 5555n II version but was curious if anyone managed to get the
original on 12m or if it's even capable?

I already have the original mod to open it up from 25.615 - 30.105.
Also noticed long ago that there are unpopulated JST type jacks inside and jumpers I'm curious
if anyone has found their purposes over all these years since it's initial release.

Just curious, thanks.

Possibly @Pez might know the answer
Or possibly contact Ken at Anytone, he has been helpful to me in the past.
When the CRT 9900v4 first came out with 12 meters we were trying to get the quad 6 to go down there and Ken is the one who told me there were hardware changes to the board in the CRT version compared to the Anytone.

I have an original 5555N2 long case radio with the firmware upgrade and it goes down to 24.715 MHz. It did this even before I upgraded it!
In channel mode it will only go down to 25.615 but I can manually scan downward from there to 24.715
