This will be my first ham rig. it is a 2 meter radio. Until I get my license I would like to listen. But I have no clue how to use this rig. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Most of these rigs have a following on Yahoo Groups. I'd look there for help. Chirp is a free program that can be used to program a lot of the Chinese rigs, and I have found it to be very user friendly (Baofeng HT's). I'd start with the yahoo groups, then go from there. The Chinglish can be a bear to figure out!

Definitely try Chirp for any of the Chinese rigs. It's much better that the software that comes with the radio.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
