So it's not a new radio then is it? It's a re-release of an old radio with a different companies name on the case. Looks like it's been released as a Cobra, Magnum, and about a dozen others already. I'm guessing Qixiang is the manufacturer of all those as well then?

It does looks like a Magnum 1.

It does resemble the magnum 1 which was a clone of the maxlog m-8800



The one in @Shadetree Mechanic post looks nearly identical to the brother of the maxlog m-8800, the m-8900


Or a cross between it and a cobra 29lx

It does looks like a Magnum 1.

Looks exactly like a Cobra 29LX MAX too.....
I have a feeling these are all the same inside and all made by Qixiang.

There was another one as well, I think Shade tree has one, it was a new start up manufacturer.
I was told once that a good bit of a new radio cost was designing and molding a new benzel and faceplates.
I believe it, seems like every radio has a clone somewhere.
