Hi im new to all this?
So i started with a AnyTone5555 v6 works well:D BUT when i put a small amp on to it, it reads in the display 5 HI with a hi pitch noise:(
Any one know how to fix the problem with out getting rid of the rig:pop:

Thanks
JD:pop:

Use the software and turn off the hi SWR alarm.
At the same time, turn the warning to the maximum amount possible (as well as dissabling the hi swr alert) The noise should stop and radio will keep transmitting but you may still see the warning flash on the screen but it will not affect the transmission

If it is reading a SWR of 5; then perhaps you might want to heed that as a WARNING?
Might be wise to inspect your coax jumper or run it w/o the amp until you find the problem?

do all that ,then check swr with external meter or antenna anylizer

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
