If you try to remove the circuit board from the microphone case, exercise extreme caution, as the mic element is really tight in the molded cup it sits in. If you use a tad too much force, the element will snap off at the tiny leads. Ask me how I know

Unfortunately, BestCB states they do not sell the microphones for the radio separately, so I have a mic element coming from the good bots at Amazon, that I hope will work.

Also, Panic Attack made a mic adapter cable and put the pin out on his FB page, so I am going to try that as well. Like I said in a previous post…if it ain’t broke, we can fix that.

Change the small eletret to a common grounded one, sound MUCH BETTER. Ask me i know haha

I dont really want one but I should have one. That is looking small even by my standards. It looks perfect though to toss in a pocket! Looks like it would be perfect for travel use.

I think we should all count ourselves lucky to have something this small on the market that has SSB.

I am glad it is not in redneck blue not to be confused with Egyptian blue. If it is going to have a large display it might as well be designed to be looked at without destroying your eyesight, night vision, sleep paterns and depth the way redneck blue does. Red, orange, that soft yellow/off white, and green are all better that blue.

I am kind of old fashioned I like electronics designed to be looked at by a human for hours at a time with out eye fatigue. It is bad enough I need bifocals now no need to suffer idiotic design as well!

This looks like someone put real thought into it!
