Astatic 636l

I have a 636l on my Rci2970 every one tells me to turn the mike gain up they can barly hear me, put my stock mike on same one's complain they have to turn their volume down but radio is loud and clear. mike gain turned up allthe way with both mikes and still can't use my talk back.

Any suggestions should i buy an rk56 or keep stock mike on and get verible talkback (if it will even help)

Hey Sixpac..

I don't think you'll notice a big difference in the RK56 and the 636 (I've tried both and a RD104 on the 6300). I went with the Road King just outta personal preference (the radio got a squeal when I turned the mic gain up past halfway with the stock mike, talkback all the way up). It may be a problem with the 636. If possible, borrow another and try it...
