For years this microphone has been used in places like factories and oil fields. ASTATIC introduced a new version of this microphone to the communications world. The model number of this new microphone is the BUM-1 (Big Ugly Mic!). It has been rewired to work with virtually all C.B. radios. The microphone still retains all of the best features of the original design. Who says they don't build them like they used to!
