They'll never find the amp section of my 2000 I hid it...

Yeah....no one would ever think to trace out the coax cables.

too many watts with too many close neighbors. i had same issue in trailer park
antenna is using your coax as rest of antenna . just like the a99 does .
then add to mix running 30 watt dk with 100 pep.
reciepe for disaster. try making a rf choke 8 inches diameter by 8 turns
and maybe make radials longer [think i seen this already] it may help
better advice is put a 300 watt system in your mobile and go find a hill
and talk dx that way just my 2 cents

Simple fix. Don't run a linear amplifier. Disconnect it.
If you audio limiter is disabled in the radio then put it back.
Apartment living is not ideal for for a radio opp.
When I lived in a apartment I focused more on mobile radio usage.

Power lines act as antennas ..thus piping the breakers...run qrp "5 watts or less" and your problem should go away..If not build a simple beam n point away from your neighbors ..still with 5 watts or less..build a magnetic loop antenna...small easy to aim and work well ...again with 5 watts or less...see a pattern forming.....5 watts or less ..

I picked up a palomar 300A at the thrift store for $75 its dirty but man it works.. Has a bad tube in the driver section so I just run it on low driving it with a lil fat boy 2 pill. I'm keying 40 watts swinging 200 watts into it. The 300A is keying like 250 swinging about 950-1000 lol. Its doing it..

Oh I got rid of the B-100 and put a sirio P5000 on the rail. SWR wont even move my swr meter so I put it on the MFJ and its 1.1 from 26.785 to 27.555
