As I live near Yosemite Nat Park we see this far to often. There are many signs in the park posted that say " Speed Kills Bears"
I understand that this was taken on the highway and looks totally unavoidable but there are bear fatalities every year inside the park that could be avoided if people would slow down and remember they are driving through the wildlifes home.

Could have some new park rules prohibiting riding in cars and only pedestrian walking,er running only. Park visitors would be supplied with bear bells.

Those bells just serve as dinner bells for the bears letting them know that supper is ready.
