best base cb ??

well i did buy a set up it is a washington uniden with the 8719 chip 2 switches and a d 104 i hope it will sound as good as my old washington 858 or my cobra 148 side mike volted final radio and have the same channel conversion thanks again to every one

you bought the best overall radio for both ssb and AM but it isn't loud hi-level AM modulation like the 858 would be. if you mod the alc circuit try to put the mods on a switch so you can run them like stock on ssb or you will distort easy on peaks
