best/easiest study system for tech and general license ?

I was surprised at how fast it was approved and posted by FCC. I tested at a session sponsored by GLAARG on June 10 and the upgrade listing is dated the 11th. Could it be any faster?

Hello, There were ten of us being tested we all passed and we all had pen & paper. I wanted to avoid online testing the camera setups too confusing. Almost no wait for FCC registering my General upgrade so maybe 24 hours after the test itself.
Some people took different exams, it was not all General.
The Answer Sheet was in the form of the scanable circles that are colored-in to indicate selection. They had a manual template of sort to quickly identify wrong answers on any given Answer Sheet so grading was very fast. Exams graded on the spot good crew there at Brooklyn Resistor, lots of interesting wall art you had to see to believe.

I just passed my mine (tech) about an hour ago

I used three different practice test sites but I like this one the best

I liked how they had a brief summary and comments after each question so that was awesome

Speaking of awesome wow this community is something else I showed up and there was a field day going on (which I know nothing about and got to help out and watch what was going on) the most friendly people (like this place) and also a MASSIVE spread of the best grub ever pot luck dinner amazing food and dessert.

So by the time I had to take the test (1400) I was damn near in a coma LMAO

Hey guys just putting this out there if anyone is wondering

Saturday - took test (before you do this go to FCC cores and get a FCC Registration Number (FRN) you will need it)

Monday - got email from FCC notification of payment due $35 (log into FCC cores and pay)

Wednesday - got email from hamstudy.org letting me know what my call sign is
Shortly thereafter received email from FCC to download license with call sign

There was no charge when I took Tech exam in '22. Passed General and changed callsign in '23, that was $35. Got a GMRS license in '24, another $35. Changed station address in '24, no charge. Won't have to renew til '33, if I'm still above ground by then. Bet it's more than $35 by then....

Getting licensed was the best radio decision I've made. Have had a blast working the planet on HF and making lots of new buddies here in the US on 6m. Using a callsign and operating with some manners is not at all difficult or restrictive and opens up a huge world of radio fun.
