There's an oem that makes coax for several of the name brands stuff and you can get it at a really good price. They can send the stuff raw by the foot or you can buy in certain lengths with ends installed. They have their own 400 series coax and you really can't go wrong with it.

They have their own 400 series coax and you really can't go wrong with it.

I've been using DavisRF DRF-400 for several years now. They advertise it to have the same specs as LMR-400. Made in USA and a bit cheaper by the foot. Don't know if they do connectors as I do my own. Friendly folks with reasonable, quick shipping. They also stock a big range of connectors and etc.

I get all mine from Jefa, all their cables are guaranteed. They do a lot of government contract work, and I got a screaming good deal one time. They sell 500 foot rolls, but there was a flaw in their system because I bought a cable by the foot and put 500 in. I only paid about 2/3 of what it cost by the roll and they called me and asked if I really wanted them to put the ends on. I told them just to throw them in the box.

I think they fixed it, but it's worth a try.
