So they are obsolete but I would like to have a few on hand for the future. I am looking for the actual ones not the RCI version.

Ebay has them a dime a dozen but I am hesitant for obvious reasons. Am I am worrying about nothing with reguards to this PLL and fakes? Is there a chance the fakes are still a good part and functions fine? What are the odd's that they are fake?

I tried Mouser, Digi-Key, RF Parts, Barkett Electronics all out of stock.

Thanks

5 years ago I last bought from an ebay seller who used the same picture in this current listing. That seller doesn't seem to be around anymore. Is this seller the same? I don't know but he is using a picture that the other seller used for 10 years.

Thanks guys! I ordered 3 for now will prob. order more latter. I think I have at least 4 CB's that use that PLL and so 3 should be suffcient. I think I have one some place.

You can use an mc14506 pll with adapter board and works well also for extra channels more than the mb8719 will give.

I have seen guys with too much time on their hands or a real interest break out a pll on some bread board to shift pins and such to do home brew channel expansion. If I could buy one pre-made I might consider it but I am not making my own. That juice is not worth the squeeze today.

Now that you can AnyTone all mode and their clones for under $250 and cover 10, 11, 12 meters often under $200 if you shop around and get a good sale!

Yeah, some folks just like their old Harleys, oil leaks and all.

All of my Union auto working uncles and Ccrpenter unckles owned Harleys that leaked and where POS especially the AMF ones. My Dad was an enlisted man in the US Army he owned metric bikes that ran like the energizer bunny and needed far less maintence and did not leak. His 550 Yamaha Maxim which was my first street bike when he upgraded did have some carb syn issues.

I always wanted to play around with the Honda 6 cylinder but not in an actual GoldWing. I never got to do that. I got tired of healing up from 4 wheelers and their lack of mirror usage. Getting old sucks! LOL

I just bought a Grant XL and a 148GTL a few weeks ago I like old things too!
