Mexican nationals almost brought the Snow Goose or North American Blue goose to extinction with those type of guns and it only stopped when the U.S. stopped buying feathers from them so it was not worth their time to massacre them and now the Snow Goose is thriving like the American Bald Eagle is since the banning of DDT insecticides.
