ok guys .my first bird43 wattmeter and 1000h slug.in about 45minutes i am heading out to make a run and i plan on testing it out .i deadkey 400 and let it swing for skipshooting.i only know what my amps do in peak numbers at this point.my deadkey should be very near the same i will assume?
what should i see ballpark on a bird43 with 1000h slug hitting it with a 2by8 on stock volts.i have a charging system that supports this .i am thinking 1000bird?well i am hoping..lol.....
after i get some baseline readings with this new meter i have a peak kit to install into it .
this peak kit also has a slug multiplier which is setup for 2x and 5x .which means when activated my 1000 slug can read 2000 or 5000
vice versa for other slugs.this kit is peak and average and you can actually adjust the multiplier to suit your needs.2x,3,4x,up to 5x.pretty cool.save money on slugs.
found it on ebay for 60 bucks plus 5 shipping.if anyone wants to try one .
i will give my review of that item after i have had time to try it awhile and get some baselines to go by .
so what should a 2by8 on a stock system that holds the volts do?thanks
