Sierra Nevada by Yosemite National Park
Welcome to the place I call home, this Photo was taken about 45 Min from were I live up here in the Sierras Near Yosemite Nat Park.
During the Spring and Early summer the melting snow pack sends thousands of gallons of run off cascading down into the Valley and flows on into the Merced River
The Young Man that got this Awesome Photo is Justin Lee, who was overjoyed to find himself in exactly the right place at the right time.
Mr Lee, is from British Columbia, Canada,

Awesome falls and to have been there to photograph that had to be quite an experience.

Speaking of falls, i was watching the season episode of River Monsters, where there is a scene shot in the jungles of Guyana in front of a very large water fall. The falls dwarf the Niagra falls, but had never been filmed before.

I will try and dig up the numbers on height for comparison, but may have to see the show again to get those numbers exactly.

Just off the top of my head i think the Niagra falls are about 100 meters, while this fall in Guyana was well over 700 meters.

Man....that is beautiful.....Ive been to most of the national parks out west....if you have not......put it on your must do list. :)

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
