anyone am wondering bought a mk 3 changed all the tubes but to my surprise no more ping anyone ??????thx in advance maxx

The ping sound is produced by a capacitor inside the rig and not the tubes. I don't know the location on the MK 3 but I'd bet the cap is old and needs replaced to get the ping back.

well thanx for taking the time just found out that my swr pwr meter is shut lol and that my mk 3 has no tx o nada .......... of course after putting new tubes lol will see bout mauals will keep ya posted thx maxx

well turns out no ping cause no tx so now manuals and trouble shooting thx for taking the time will keep you posted
